My Baby Sleep Coaching program is for families who are looking for Intelligent, Baby-Friendly, Family-Centered Sleep Understanding that comes with Evidence Based, Real Answers to help your entire family structure solve it's struggles around sleep, the exhaustion that comes with new parenting, and all the issues in between.
My training includes secure attachment theory, basic counseling and child development, sleep science, behavioral modification techniques, and supporting the breastfeeding mom. I have extensive experience working with mothers with postpartum depression, and those that have experienced previous loss of any kind. After two years of many sleepless nights with my own toddler and feeling the direct effects of chronic sleep deprivation, I realize how important healthy sleep habits are to the entire family structure.
I bring almost two decades working as a Childbirth Expert to my Baby Sleep Coaching practice. As a Certified Holistic Labor and Postpartum Doula, Certified Lactation Counselor, and facilitator of New Parent support groups, this facet of my practice is timely and exciting in an age where exhausted parents, without the support of the larger village, are looking for help in a busy, baby-centered new world.
Baby Sleep Training information is everywhere and no one knows which pieces of that information will truly help their family's issues. Maybe none of it will help your situation. When you sit down with a Sleep Coach, and co-create a plan to bring balance to your whole family unit, answers come pouring through.
It is no secret that I’ve been helping new parents and babies get better sleep since spending hundreds of evenings observing newborns at night as a postpartum doula. Fast forward and now I know what it’s like for real (as a new parent myself!) to be sleep deprived and to be absolutely curious how to get my baby to sleep in ways I desire for the benefit of my family.
Often we feel alone in parenting and don’t know who to turn to to talk all the feels and concerns without fear of being judged. Welcome to one of the only places on virtual earth where you can be heard and seen and offered a way to co-create a wellness plan for your entire family unit.
My mission is to offer on-going guidance no matter where you are in the world, whether you are doing this as a single parent with no help at all, or have a partner who splits the night shifts (or a partner who just can’t help at all), or you have a baby nurse. No matter the village, the more the merrier. And the more specialized (in sleep AND in new parenthood) the better.
